Abstract

Rozwijające się nowe technologie, zwłaszcza media komunikacyjne, przyczyniły się do intensywności zachowań przemocowych w świecie wirtualnym. Niejednokrotnie z różnymi formami cyberprzemocy łączy się zjawisko sekstingu. Polega ono na przesyłaniu za pośrednictwem różnych mediów osobistych materiałów o charakterze erotycznym, a nawet pornograficznym. Artykuł stanowi pewną próbę zwrócenia uwagi na zjawisko sekstingu oraz skutki niewłaściwego korzystania przez dzieci i młodzież z mediów cyfrowych, szczególnie takich, jak internet czy telefonia komórkowa.Developing new technologies, in particular communication media, has contributed to the intensity of violent behaviour in the virtual world. Very often different forms of cyberbullying are combined with the phenomenon of sexting. This involves the transmission of personal erotic, or even pornographic, material via various media. The paper is an attempt to draw attention to the phenomenon of sexting, and the consequences of the misuse of digital media by children and young people, in particular the Internet and mobile phones.
