Rozprawa doktorska pt. „Jednostki pancerne i samochodowe Dowództwa Okręgu Korpusu nr X 19181939” poświęcona została przedstawieniu rozwoju jednostek pancernych oraz samochodowych jak również pokazaniu czynników mających wpływ na ich tworzenie, reorganizację a także funkcjonowanie w realiach formowania Sił Zbrojnych i związanych z tym ograniczeń w latach 1918 – 1939, na bazie Dowództwa Okręgu Korpusu nr X. Rozwój polskich jednostek pancernych oraz samochodowych uzależniony był od przyjętej koncepcji rozwoju całych Sił Zbrojnych w dużej mierze opartej na rozwiązaniach francuskich. Okres dwudziestolecia międzywojennego to czas rodzenia się nowych koncepcji użycia tego nowego rodzaju broni, to stan permanentnej restrukturyzacji jednostek pancernych w II RP. To także borykanie się z rozwiązaniem wielu niewiadomych związanych z użyciem tego rodzaju broni dotyczącego nie tylko czasu „W” ale również kwestii związanych z finansowaniem w warunkach tworzenia się i umacniania młodego państwa Praca składa się z sześciu rozdziałów. W pierwszym scharakteryzowano proces organizowania struktur wojskowych władz terytorialnych, ze zwróceniem uwagi na Dowództwo Okręgu Korpusu nr X. W kolejnym rozdziale rozwinięto problematykę oceny rozwoju motoryzacji w dwudziestoleciu międzywojennym. Jest to istotne, ponieważ przemysł motoryzacyjny, a także przemysł zbrojeniowy są swego rodzaju wyznacznikami rozwoju technologicznego danego państwa. W rozdziale trzecim starano się przedstawić miejsce jednostek pancernych i samochodowych w doktrynie militarnej II RP, ze szczególnym zwróceniem uwagi na koncepcję użycia broni pancernej. Kolejny rozdział dotyczy powstania pierwszych jednostek pancernych i samochodowych na terenie Dowództwa Okręgu Korpusu nr X. Przedstawiono historię powstania 1. pułku czołgów, przemieszczenia pułku do Polski, dyslokację nowych jednostek pułku. Rozdział piąty to problematyka trzech kolejnych reorganizacji Broni Pancernej na przykładzie Dowództwa Okręgu Korpusu nr X. Ostatni rozdział przedstawia trudny proces formowania pierwszej Brygady Zmotoryzowanej w naszych Siłach Zbrojnych. Ukazuje emocje towarzyszące temu przedsięwzięciu.

Doctoral thesis entitled "The armored and motorized units Command of the District Corps No X 1918-1939" was dedicated to the presentation of the development of armored and motorized units as well as showing the factors affecting their creation, reorganization and functioning in the realities of the formation of the Armed Forces and related restrictions in the years 1918-1939, based on the Command of the District Corps No X. The development of Polish armored and motorized units was dependent on the adopted concept of development of the Armed Forces largely based on the French ideas. The interwar period is the time when new concepts of use new type of weapon are born, is a state of permanent restructuring of the Armored Units in the II Polish Republic. It is also a struggle with the solution many unknowns related to the use of such weapons not only in war time, but also issues related to financing in the conditions of formation and strengthening of a young state. The work consists of six chapters. The first one describes process of organizing the military structures of local and regional authorities, paying attention to the Command of the Districts Corps No X. In the next chapter developed automotive development evaluation issues in the interwar period. This is important, because the automotive industry, as well as the arms industry is a kind of determinants of technological development of the State concerned. In the third section seeks to provide Armored and Motorized Units space in the military doctrine of the II Polish Republic, with particular attention to the concept of the use of armored weapon. The next chapter deals with the creation of the first Armored and Motorized Units on the territory of the Command of the Districts Corps No X. where was presented the story of the creation of 1st Tank Regiment, the displacement of the regiment to Poland and dislocation of new units of the regiment. Chapter five contains story of three successive reorganization of the Armor Weapon on the example the Command of the Districts Corps No X. The last chapter presents the difficult process of forming the first Motorized Brigade in our Armed Forces. It shows the emotions accompanying the project.
