Главные критерии правильности языкового теста как формы контроля при обучении иностранному языку

Abstract

The article characterises the main criteria for correctness of a language test as one of forms of control in foreign language teaching. The author describes the four main criteria for devising language tests: accuracy, reliability, practicalness as well as didactic value of tests. Furthermore, component parts and rules influencing the effectiveness of testing are discussed. The author tries to draw the readers' attention to the role of quantitative and qualitative language test assessment.
