Uwagi na temat estetycznego i społecznego wymiaru ruin we współczesnej polskiej literaturze weird fiction

Main aim of this article is to compile concepts and theoretical tools for determining the aesthetic properties of ruins in contemporary Polish weird fiction literature, and to identify and briefly analyze works in which ruined spaces occur. The initial part identifies city as the most frequently appearing space in the literature under discussion. The main segment focuses on describing social and speculative dimension of ruins, with the analysis and interpretation of Dawid Kain and Anna Maria Wybraniec short stories. The article concludes with questions and issues directed at further developing the research field.
