| dc.description.abstract | Wstęp: Celem pracy było zbadanie wpływu takich czynników, jak: wiek, płeć, miejsce zamieszkania, liczba osób w gospodarstwie domowym, wykształcenie i status zawodowy rodziców, na częstość występowania otyłości i nadwagi u dzieci. Materiał i metoda: Grupę badaną stanowiło 83 uczniów, w tym: 42 chłopców i 41 dziewczynek w wieku 12–15 lat. W badaniach wykorzystane zostały: kwestionariusz ankiety, pomiar wysokości i masy ciała oraz siatki centylowe opracowane na postawie projektu OLA OLAF. Uzyskane wyniki zostały opracowane statystycznie. Wyniki i wnioski: Płeć, wiek, liczba osób w gospodarstwie domowym oraz wykształcenie matki nie mają wpływu na częstość występowania otyłości i nadwagi u badanych dzieci. Miejsce zamieszkania, wykształcenie ojca oraz status zawodowy obojga rodziców to czynniki różnicujące częstość występowania otyłości i nadwagi w badanej populacji. | pol |
| dc.description.abstract | Introduction: The aim of the study was to investigate the influence of such factors as: age, sex, place of residence, number of people in a household, education and professional status of parents on the prevalence of obesity and overweight in children. Material and method: The study group consisted of 83 children, including: 42 boys and 41 girls, aged 12–15 years. The research used: a questionnaire, measurement of height and weight as well as percentile grids developed on the basis of the OLA OLAF project. The obtained results were statistically processed. Results and conclusions: Gender, age, number of household members and mother’s education did not affect the prevalence of obesity and overweight in the studied children. The place of residence, education of the father and the professional status of both parents are factors that differentiate the prevalence of obesity and overweight in the studied population. | eng |
