Dramatopisarstwo kobiet w pierwszej połowie XIX wieku w Polsce. Gatunki, tematy, konwencje fabularne, kreacje postaci

Abstract

Celem rozprawy doktorskiej jest ukazanie, w jaki sposób teksty dramatów napisanych przez kobiety wpisują się w dzieje literatury polskiej I połowy XIX wieku. W pierwszym z czterech rozdziałów przedstawiam kwestię wychowania i edukacji kobiet pierwszej połowy XIX wieku. Prezentuję w nim autokrytyczne spojrzenie kobiet na swoją twórczość i stan wiedzy o teorii dramatu. Analizuję także elementy delimitacyjne dramatów. W rozdziale drugim porównuję strukturę czterech tragedii historycznych, mówiących o losach polskich władczyń. Zwracam uwagę na budowę intrygi dramatycznej, kreacje tytułowych bohaterek oraz omawiam kształt fabularny poszczególnych utworów podejmujących tę problematykę. W rozdziale III analizuję schematy fabularne dramatów pseudohistorycznych oraz fikcyjne intrygi dramatyczne. Przyglądam się tu także gotowym na śmierć z miłości bohaterkom oraz wyidealizowanym wizerunkom władców. W rozdziale IV interpretuję dramaty o tematyce mieszczańskiej. Zwracam tu uwagę na dylematy młodych kobiet w tym okresie, a mianowicie na motywacje ich decyzji o małżeństwie. Omawiam tu także schematy fabularne, którymi posługiwały się utwory reprezentujące ten gatunek dramatyczny. Przeprowadzone analizy pokazują, że autorki pierwszej połowy XIX wieku wykorzystywały powszechnie znane motywy, ale dążyły też do samodzielności twórczej. Wybierały różnorodne gatunki dramatyczne, a w kreacjach literackich postaci zawarły ostrożną polemikę z stereotypowym spojrzeniem na kobietę.The main aim of the doctoral dissertation is to present how the lyrics of dramas written by women go down in the history of Polish literature in the first half of the 19th century. In the first of four chapters, I depict the issue of education and learning of women from the first half of the 19th century is presented. I expose the self aware point of view of women on their creativity and knowledge of drama theory. I also analyzing the cross border elements of dramas. In the second chapter I compare the structure of four historical tragedies describing the fate of Polish rulers. I pay attention to the construction of a dramatic intrigue, creations of the title characters and discuss the plot shape of individual works dealing with this issue. In the third chapter I analyze the fictional patterns of pseudohistorical dramas and fictional dramatic intrigues. I point there to an interesting regularity - here the characters of these dramas are women who are not able to sacrifice themselves for the good of the nation but all are ready to die for love and consider idealized images of rulers. In the fourth chapter I interpret dramas on the middle class subjects. I draw attention here to the dilemmas of young women in this period namely the motivations of their marriage decision. I also analyze feature patterns used by works representing this dramatic genre. The carried out analysis indicate that authors half of the nineteenth century of the 19th century used not only well-known motives but also strived for creative independence. They chose various dramatic genres and creations of the characters contained a cautious polemic with a stereotypical view of the woman
