Abstract

Poszukując użytecznych kategorii służących do opisu i badania codzienności szkoły, warto zwrócić uwagę na indywidualne pedagogiczne teorie nauczycieli będące elementem kultury szkoły. W tekście przybliżam pojęcie indywidualnych teorii nauczycieli, ich rodzaje, obszary, jakich mogą dotyczyć. Przyjmuję, iż indywidualne teorie pedagogiczne nauczycieli w odróżnieniu od wiedzy naukowej są ich „wiedzą osobistą”, gromadzoną na podstawie indywidulanych doświadczeń. Wiedza ta służy do rozwiązywania praktycznych problemów, a co za tym idzie, w istotny sposób wpływa na działania szkolne nauczycieli, a skoro tak, to nie może być w badaniach nad szkołą pomijana.Looking for useful categories to describe and study the everyday life of a school, it is worth noting the individual pedagogical theories of teachers, which are part of the school’s culture. In the text I present the concept of individual theories of teachers, their types and the areas they may concern. I assume that individual pedagogical theories of teachers, as opposed to scientific knowledge, are their “personal knowledge”, gathered on the basis of individual experiences. This knowledge is used to solve practical problems and thus has a significant impact on teachers' school practice, and if so, it cannot be ignored in the research on the school.
