Abstrakt
Rozprawa doktorska dotyczy wpływu muzyki i preferencji
muzycznych na poziom aleksytymii wśród osób
uzależnionych odbywających karę pozbawienia wolności.
Aleksytymia, rozumiana jako trudność w rozpoznawaniu,
nazywaniu i regulowaniu emocji, stanowi istotny problem
kliniczny i resocjalizacyjny w tej grupie. Badanie
przeprowadzono w Zakładzie Karnym w Rzeszowie na
próbie 100 osadzonych, z podziałem na grupę
uczestniczącą w oddziaływaniach
muzykoterapeutycznych oraz grupę porównawczą.
Zastosowano kwesQonariusze PAQ i STOMP oraz autorską
ankietę. Uzyskane wyniki sugerują, że udział w
muzykoterapii może wiązać się z obniżeniem poziomu
aleksytymii, zwłaszcza w obszarze rozpoznawania i
opisywania emocji pozytywnych. Zaobserwowano także
zależności między preferencjami muzycznymi a
funkcjonowaniem emocjonalnym. Wyniki nie mają
charakteru rozstrzygającego, jednak wskazują na
potencjalne znaczenie muzyki jako wsparcia procesów
regulacji emocji i rozwoju kompetencji emocjonalnych w
warunkach izolacji penitencjarnej.
This doctoral dissertation explores the impact of music and musical preferences on the level of alexithymia among addicted individuals serving prison sentences. Alexithymia, defined as difficulties in identifying, describing, and regulating emotions, represents a significant clinical and resocialization challenge in this population. The study was conducted in Rzeszów Prison on a sample of 100 inmates, divided into a group participating in music therapy interventions and a comparison group. The Perth Alexithymia Questionnaire (PAQ), the Short Test of Music Preferences (STOMP), and an author’s questionnaire were applied. The results suggest that participation in music therapy may be associated with a reducQon in alexithymia levels, particularly in recognizing and describing positive emotions. Relationships between musical preferences and emotional functioning were also observed. The findings are not conclusive; however, they indicate the potential role of music as a supportive factor in emotional regulation and the development of emotional competences in penitentiary settings.
