Abstract
Uważa się, że sektor MŚP napędza gospodarkę. Wnosi znaczący wkład do wartości dodanej brutto i zatrudnia większość siły roboczej. Banki potrzebują zaprojektować nowe procedury oceny zdolności kredytowej i modele biznesowe, aby skutecznie służyć potrzebom MŚP.
The SME sector is considered to drive the economy. It makes a significant contribution to the gross value added and employs the majority of labor force. It also brings benefits such as stimulating competition or providing a supply chain. Financing SMEs is one of the major burdens of entrepreneurship and competitiveness development. The author describes specific conditions of functioning in the SME sector, which makes banks reluctant and more cautious about providing loans. It results in poor credit rating and means that the access to SME’s main source of financing – namely bank loans – is difficult. Banks need to design the new rating creditworthiness procedures and business models to effectively serve the needs of SMEs.
