Abstract

Music is a universal good for every person and for every society. The article focuses on the search and analysis of the role of music for society and a human being as a social being. Through contact with music, each individual develops positive qualities, cognitive properties, brain functions, builds his own identity and enriches his personality. Each musical activity generates communication and educational situations. Music also plays its role in treatment, finding applications in diagnostics and therapy. The aim of the article is to present the sociological and psychological aspects of music.
