Oryginalny styl liryczny Goethego do dziś pozostaje wzorem i punktem odniesienia. Pieśń nocna wędrowca II (Über allen Gipfeln ist Ruh) to jeden z najczęściej analizowanych, interpretowanych i naśladowanych tekstów poetyckich. Esej zawiera ogląd literaturoznawczy wiersza z perspektyw: biograficznej, psychoanalitycznej, socjologicznej, ontologicznej i poetologicznej.
Goetheʼs original lyrical style remains a model and point of reference to this day. The poem „Wandererʼs Nightsong“ II is one of the most frequently analyzed, interpreted and imitated poetic texts. The essay contains a literary analysis of the poem from the following perspectives: biographical, psychoanalytic, sociological, ontological and poetological.
