Abstract

Artykuł opisuje instytucje polskiego szkolnictwa wyższego i ich wpływ na nierówności społeczne. Najpierw omówione zostają operacyjne cele polityki edukacyjnej. Następnie pokazane są złożone relacje pomiędzy podmiotami systemu polskiego szkolnictwa wyższego. Artykuł skupia się na roli algorytmu używanego do finansowania szkół wyższych. Tezą pracy jest stwierdzenie, że system polskiego szkolnictwa wyższego nie może być selektywnie zarządzany, a zatem nie może być używany do realizacji polityki społecznej.The article describes institutions of Polish higher education and their influence on inequalities. First of all, operational goals of educational policy are specified. In the next step complex relations among agents of the system of Polish higher education are shown. The article is focused on the role of an algorithm used to finance higher education schools. The thesis of the paper is the statement that the system of Polish higher education can’t be selectively managed by educational politics. Hence it can’t be used to realize social policy.
