Abstrakt
The article presents a critical approach to “Podmiot w filozofii Emila Ciorana” by Mateusz Rura (Wydawnictwo UMCS, Lublin 2019). It discusses the main theses presented in the dissertation and invites to reflection on Cioran’s philosophy. The paper shows fundamental existential problems, such as self-consciousness, loneliness, suffering, despair, melancholy, suicide and fear of death.
