W artykule przedstawione zostaną najważniejsze kierunki współczesnych badań nad edukacją polonistyczną, związanych z pracą nauczyciela i kompetencjami ucznia, dotyczące: czytelnictwa, tworzenia wypowiedzi ustnych i pisemnych, odbioru prozy i poezji, kształtowania postaw, a także analizy i interpretacji innych tekstów kultury. Omówione zostanie również znaczenie wyników tych badań dla kształcenia przyszłych nauczycieli we współczesnej, zmieniającej się rzeczywistości szkolnej. Głównymi problemami, którym poświęcono refleksję naukową, są sposoby upowszechniania badań ilościowych oraz jakościowych podczas konferencji naukowych organizowanych z myślą o nauczycielach (takich jak: Jesienna Szkoła Dydaktyków Literatury i Języka Polskiego w Krakowie oraz Kongres Dydaktyki Polonistycznej), jak również udział studentów w prowadzeniu mikrobadań. Zwracając uwagę na szanse i ograniczenia przydatności wyników badań nad edukacją polonistyczną w kształceniu nauczycieli, istotne okazują się także ustalenia wynikające z indywidualnych zainteresowań i doświadczeń badawczych autorki prowadzącej zajęcia ze studentami specjalności nauczycielskiej na seminarium licencjackim i magisterskim. Na potrzebę niniejszego artykułu przeprowadzone zostały badania sondażowe z wykorzystaniem kwestionariusza ankiety internetowej, których uczestnikami byli studenci specjalności nauczycielskiej.

The article will present the most important directions of contemporary research on Polish language education, related to the work of the teacher and the competences of the student, concerning: reading, the creation of oral and written expressions, the reception of prose and poetry, the shaping of attitudes, as well as the analysis and interpretation of other texts of culture. The importance of the results of these studies for the education of future teachers in the modern, changing school reality will also be discussed. The main problems that will be addressed in the academic reflection are the ways of disseminating quantitative and qualitative research during academic conferences organized for teachers (such as the Autumn School of Didactics of Polish Literature and Language in Krakow and the Congress of Polish Didactics) and the use of research results in schools, as well as the participation of students in conducting micro-studies. While paying attention to the opportunities and limitations of the usefulness of the results of research on Polish language education in teacher education, the findings resulting from the individual interests and research experiences of the author who conducts classes with students of the teaching specialty at the bachelor’s and master’s seminars turn out to be important. For the purpose of this article, a survey was conducted, based on a questionnaire of an online survey, whose participants were students of the teaching specialty.
