Testamenty z przełomu XVIII i XIX w. w księgach galicyjskiej Tabuli Krajowej i Tabuli Miasta Lwowa

Abstract

Niniejszy artykuł zajmuje się wpisami testamentowymi z lat 1780–1828 pochodzącymi z ksiąg galicyjskiej Tabuli Krajowej oraz Tabuli miasta Lwowa. W pierwszej części przedstawiono dzieje ustrojowe urzędu Tabuli Krajowej oraz Tabuli miasta Lwowa, rodzaje ksiąg, jakie powstały w trakcie urzędowania tej instytucji, a w szczególności ksiąg testamentów. W dalszej kolejności omówiono budowę oraz specyfikę ksiąg, ich zawartość, poddano analizie liczebność wpisów testamentowych (na tle pozostałych) oraz wyróżniono dwa typowe formularze wpisu. Ostatnia część koncentruje się na treści wpisów testamentowych, ich strukturze oraz wartości informacyjnej w porównaniu ze znanymi już testamentami. Całość zamyka aneks zawierający cztery najbardziej charakterystyczne wpisy testamentowe.

This article examines testament entries from 1780–1828 preserved in the registers of the Galician Tabula Krajowa [Galician National Court] and the Lviv City Tabula [City Court of Lviv]. The first part presents the organisational history of the Tabula Krajowa and the Lviv City Tabula, the types of registers created during the operation of these institutions, and, in particular, the registers of last wills. The following section discusses the structure and characteristics of the registers, their contents, and analyses the number of last will entries (in relation to other entries), highlighting two typical entry templates. The final part focuses on the content of the last will entries, their structure, and informational value, compared to previously known wills. The article concludes with an annex containing four of the most characteristic last will entries.
