Metafora ognia w konceptualizacji miłości w języku rosyjskim i polskim

Abstract

Przedmiotem opisu niniejszej rozprawy jest metafora ognia w konceptualizacji miłości w rosyjskim i polskim kręgu językowo-kulturowym. Badania mają charakter konfrontatywny. Metoda porównawcza pozwoliła ujawnić podobieństwa i różnice w metaforycznym wyrażaniu miłości z użyciem leksemów semantycznie związanych z ogniem. Analizie poddano konstrukcje metaforyczne z leksemem любовь/miłość oraz z leksemami, których znaczenie według źródeł leksykograficznych jest bezpośrednio lub pośrednio związane z żywiołem. Wyekscerpowany materiał został pogrupowany na metafory bazujące na połączeniu nazwy miłości z czasownikami, rzeczownikami, przymiotnikami i imiesłowami semantycznie odnoszącymi się do ognia. W rozdziale z czasownikiem wyodrębniono wyrażenia ze znaczeniem fazy uczucia oraz konstrukcje reprezentujące metaforę „miłość to siła niszcząca”. Dodatkowo zostały zaprezentowane metafory z domeną źródłową temperatury. Podczas ich opisu dokonano podziału na dwie grupy: CIEPŁO – ZIMNO. W każdej z tych kategorii zostały wydzielone wyrażenia metaforyczne z poszczególnymi częściami mowy semantycznie odnoszącymi się do temperatury. Podczas omawiania materiału empirycznego został także wykorzystany aparat pojęciowy językoznawstwa kognitywnego. Analiza kognitywna pozwoliła wskazać, które elementy struktury domeny źródłowej ognia oraz temperatury są odwzorowywane w domenie docelowej miłości.

The subject of this dissertation is the metaphor of fire in the conceptualisation of love in Russian and Polish linguistic and cultural circles. The research is confrontational in nature. The comparative method made it possible to reveal similarities and differences in the metaphorical expression of love with the use of lexemes semantically related to fire. Metaphorical constructions with the lexeme любовь/miłość and with lexemes whose meaning, according to lexicographical sources, is directly or indirectly related to the element, were analysed. The extracted material was grouped into metaphors based on the combination of the name of love with verbs, nouns, adjectives and participles semantically referring to fire. In the chapter with the verb, expressions with the meaning of the feeling phase and constructions representing the metaphor ‘love is a destructive force’ were extracted. In addition, metaphors with the source domain of temperature were presented. During their description, a division into two groups was made: HEAT - COLD. In each of these categories, metaphorical expressions with particular parts of speech semantically referring to temperature were separated. The conceptual apparatus of cognitive linguistics was also used when discussing the empirical material. The cognitive analysis made it possible to indicate which elements of the source domain structure of fire and temperature are mapped into the target domain of love.
