Poczucie bezpieczeństwa mieszkańców powiatu Dąbrowa Tarnowska. Studium socjologiczno – kryminologiczne.

Abstract

Tematem niniejszej rozprawy doktorskiej jest studium socjologiczno - kryminologiczne poczucia bezpieczeństwa mieszkańców powiatu Dąbrowa Tarnowska. Rozprawa ma charakter empiryczny z zachowaniem logicznego ciągu teoretyczno – metodologicznego. Literatura wykorzystana w pracy w dużym stopniu odnosi się do zagadnień związanych z bezpieczeństwem jako kategorii analizy naukowej na gruncie socjologii. Dzięki przeprowadzonym w ramach dysertacji badaniom o podłożu socjologiczno – kryminologicznym, udało się zgłębić wiedzę i lepiej poznać społeczeństwo powiatu dąbrowskiego. Zdołano również oszacować poczucie bezpieczeństwa jego mieszkańców oraz wskazać czynniki wywołujące poczucie zagrożenia. Zdiagnozowano także poziom świadomości społecznej w kontekście zjawiska przestępczości, zagrożeń związanych z katastrofami naturalnymi oraz innych negatywnych zjawisk społecznych. Ponadto określono determinanty, które wpływają na postrzeganie aspektów związanych z bezpieczeństwem w najbliższym otoczeniu. Na aplikacyjny charakter dysertacji wskazują przedstawione w jej końcowej części rekomendacje i propozycje inicjatyw wypracowujące strategie działań wszystkich zainteresowanych instytucji w zakresie profilaktyki bezpieczeństwa społecznego.The subject of this dissertation is a sociological criminological study of the sense of security of Dąbrowa Tarnowska district residents. The dissertation is empirical in nature while maintaining a logical theoretical and methodological sequence. To a large extent, the literature used in the study refers to the issues related to security as a category of scientific analysis on the ground of sociology. Thanks to the sociological and criminological research carried out within the dissertation, it was possible to deepen the knowledge and better understand the community members of Dąbrowa Tarnowska district. It was also possible to assess the sense of security of its residents and identify factors that cause the sense of threat. Furthermore, it was possible to diagnose the level of social awareness in the context of crime, crime-related threats, threats related to natural disasters and other negative social phenomena. In addition, determinants affecting the perception of security aspects in the immediate environment were identified. The application character of the dissertation is indicated by the recommendations and proposed initiatives presented in the final part of the dissertation, which develop strategies for all interested institutions in the field of social safety prophylactics.
