Relacje przesiedleńców z Kresów południowo-wschodnich na zachodnie ziemie Polski w ujęciu socjolingwistycznym – problemy i wyzwania badawcze

Abstract

Artykuł dotyczy analizy relacji przesiedleńców z Kresów południowo-wschodnich na ziemie zachodniej Polski po II wojnie światowej, uwzględniając ich wartość jako źródła badań socjolingwistycznych. Materiał badawczy stanowią wywiady przeprowadzone w latach 1991–2006, które dokumentują język, pamięć i tożsamość osób przesiedlonych. W artykule zawarto omówienie metodologii badań, podkreślając wyzwania związane z interpretacją źródeł oraz ich znaczenie dla badań nad zmianami językowymi i kulturowymi. Analiza pokazuje, że relacje przesiedleńców stanowią cenny materiał do interdyscyplinarnych badań łączących socjolingwistykę, badania pamięci i inne perspektywy badawcze. Wskazano również na potrzebę dalszej eksploracji tych źródeł zarówno w kontekście dziedzictwa językowego, jak i jego roli w kształtowaniu współczesnej tożsamości mieszkańców zachodnich ziem Polski.

The article concerns the analysis of the relations of the resettlers from the south-eastern Borderlands to the western territories of Poland after World War 2, taking into account their value as a source for sociolinguistic research. The research material consists of interviews conducted between 1991 and 2006, which document the language, memory and identity of the displaced persons. The article includes a discussion of the research methodology, highlighting the challenges of interpreting the sources and their relevance to the study of linguistic and cultural change. The analysis shows that the accounts of the resettlers provide valuable material for interdisciplinary research combining sociolinguistics, memory studies and other research perspectives. The need for further exploration of these sources both in the context of linguistic heritage and its role in shaping the contemporary identity of the inhabitants of the western lands of Poland is also indicated.
