Systemy informatyczne wspierające nadzór nad bezpieczeństwem stosowania produktów leczniczych

Abstract

W artykule zostały opisane główne założenia systemu nadzoru nad bezpieczeństwem stosowania produktów leczniczych (pharmacovigilance), których skuteczność może zostać zwiększona poprzez rozwój systemów informatycznych. Wymiana informacji w ramach utworzonego Centrum Systemów Informacyjnych Ochrony Zdrowia oraz zadań wykonywanych przez Zintegrowany System Monitorowania Obrotu Produktami Leczniczymi jako instrumentom budującym społeczeństwo informacyjne i sprzyjającym zapobieganiu m. in. odwróconemu łańcuchowi dystrybucji. Celem artykułu jest opisanie aktualnego stanu prawnego i zasygnalizowanie kluczowych problemów prawnych w ramach podjętego tematu.

The article describes the main assumptions of the pharmacovigilance system, whose effectiveness can be increased through the development of IT systems. Exchange of data within the framework of the Health Care Information System Information Center and the tasks performed by the Integrated Monitoring System of Medicinal Products as instruments building the information society and supporting the prevention of, among others inverted drug distribution chain. The purpose of the article is to describe the current legal status and signal the key legal problems within the subject matter.
