The aim of my doctoral thesis was, on the one hand, to examine the problem of addictions present in poster art and, on the other hand, to create my own series on this topic. The examples provided present both mental and physical addictions. In my thesis I have drawn many conclusions and theories about the art of poster design. I have proved, among other things, that social posters have huge possibilities to reach international viewers of art thanks to their properties. The most important element of my doctoral thesis is my own series of social posters about addictions. A social poster is the way to express myself on topics that bother me, confuses me or make me angry. The series consists of fifteen posters that raise the issue of various types of addiction, both physical and mental. The posters that I designed are coherent and create a well thought-out whole.
