Pozycja Doświadczanie choroby Parkinsona. Ujęcie socjologiczne(TNFS, 2019) Szluz, BeataParkinson’s disease is one of the most frequent neurodegenerative disorders typically affecting people over the age of 50. The core symptoms of Parkinson disease are bradykinesia, tremor and plastic rigidity. Social scientific research on experiencing chronic illness focuses directly on pivotal players in health care – people who are sick. Health researchers, practitioners, and policy makers may claim to represent patients’ concerns. However, they seldom obtain systematic “in-depth” views of patients’ experience of health care, much less of what it means to live with continued illness. The research on experiencing chronic illness emphasizes how people come to view themselves as chronically ill, and how illness affects their lives.Pozycja "USIDLENIE W DZIECIŃSTWIE” ‒ DOŚWIADCZANIE NIEZASPOKOJENIA EMOCJONALNEGO W RODZINIE. UJĘCIE SOCJOLOGICZNE(TNFS, 2020) Szluz, BeataParents who are emotionally unavailable are often immature and psychologically affected themselves. As difficult as it is to believe, emotionally distant parents face their own emotional problems that might go back as far as to their own childhood and be rooted in the attitude of their own parents often unable to meet the emotional and psychological needs of their child. Typical symptoms characteristic of adults who are emotionally immature and detached include, but are not limited to: rigidity, low stress tolerance, emotional instability with aggression, unstable relationships and attention-seeking. The paper aims to present difficulties encountered by people experiencing emotional dissatisfaction in the family (in sociological terms).Pozycja Życie w pojedynkę (na przykładzie wybranych państw)(Wydawnictwo Uniwersytetu Rzeszowskiego, 2017) Szluz, BeataThe legitimacy of singleness as a life-style is increasingly recognized by young people and their parents; most people no longer regard getting married as necessarily better than remaining single and do not disapprove of those who eschew marriage. What is more, despite the high levels of divorce, most young people say that they expect their marriages to be lasting. What has changed about marriage plans has been the rising age at which young people, especially young women, expect to marry an expectation reflected in the increasing age at which people are actually marrying. There also seems to be a widespread desire not to let marriage interfere with education and to obtain some work experience before marriage. Marriage continues to be more importantPozycja Życie w pojedynkę (na przykładzie wybranych państw)(Uniwersytet Rzeszowski, Rzeszów, 2017) Szluz, BeataThe legitimacy of singleness as a life-style is increasingly recognized by young people and their parents; most people no longer regard getting married as necessarily better than remaining single and do not disapprove of those who eschew marriage. Marriage continues to be more important to young women than young men, despite recent trends toward more egalitarian sex roles.
