The demanding pace of modern society pushes us to multitask in order to achieve maximum efficiency and effectiveness. A key open question is whether multitasking is effective? The results showed that students who engage in multitasking more often while completing their schoolwork tend to have lower academic performance. In addition, it was shown that multitasking is positively correlated with increased procrastination.eng
