dc.description.abstractThe study focuses on the analysis of inquiry-based activities in pre-primary education, with an emphasis on working with small materials. The theoretical part defines the objectives of the inquiry-based approach, the metacognitive development of the child, and the teacher's role in inquiry-based teaching. Children's inquiry activities and their cognitive development are analyzed by an observer. Specific inquiry-based activities were carried out using small materials in a selected kindergarten.eng
