Pozycja Doświadczenie Krzyża w świadectwach poetyckich(Wydawnictwo Uniwersytetu Rzeszowskiego, 2017) Kogut, JoannaNowadays the cross themeappears in wideculturalcontext. It ischarasterized by enormousrichness of form and content. The cross is one of the oldestsymbols of humanity. However, todayitsoriginalmeaningseems to be forgotten. It isoftenseen as ornament, art work, religious symbol. Nevertheless, for manypeopleitisexpression of humanexperiencesmarked by stigma of suffering. The presentpaperisanattempt to catchtheseexperiences and show them by analysis of religiouspoetry. The imagery of cross insideitenablesus to getjust a little bit closer to the mysteryexperience in the poetry. Contemporarypoetry was considered by the prism of canonicmysticalpoetryexpressed in John’s of the cross poetry, whoseoutput was diligentlyanalyzed by Edith Stein and Karol Wojtyla (Pope John Paul II). Thatiswhyfollowing the path, in order to catch the deeperlayer of the meaning of the topic, the phenomenologicalinterpretation was used. Stein claimsthatthisintepretationmayallowus to empathize and catchthis, whatiselusive, whatisjustimpossible for humanunderstanding, but becomesanopportunityitself.Pozycja „Epoche” Edmunda Husserla – „hortus conclusus”(Stowarzyszenie Filozofów Krajów Słowiańskich, 2015) Mordka, CezaryАвтор описывает „epoche” Э. Pozycja Home care experiences of mothers of children with tracheostomies – a qualitative study(Publishing Office of the University of Rzeszow, 2023-06) Donmez, Hatice; Gozetici, ElifIntroduction and aim. Parents of children who are addicted to technology have many problems in home care. This study aimed to describe the home care experiences of mothers of children with tracheostomies. Material and methods. The study adopted Husserl’s phenomenological method, a qualitative research design. The sample consisted of 23 mothers of children with tracheostomies followed up in the pediatric pulmonology outpatient clinic of a university hospital. All participants cared for their children at home. Data were collected using a sociodemographic questionnaire and a semi-structured interview questionnaire. All interviews were recorded and transcribed. Results. Children (12 girls and 11 boys) had a mean age of 3.43±3.326 years. The mean age of tracheostomy insertion was 2.8±2.508 years. Seventeen children were on ventilator support. All participants were mothers with a mean age of 32.34±6.00 years. Half the mothers had primary school degrees (52.2%). The interviews revealed one main theme (burnout), three subthemes (social isolation, perception of competence, and regrets), and five categories (burden of care, fear, awareness, decisions, and role confusion). Conclusion. Mothers of children with tracheostomies experience numerous problems when they provide home care. They mostly have difficulty improving themselves and enduring role confusion. We must address the issues mothers of children with tracheostomies face during home care to reduce the prevalence of potential complications and improve the quality of care for both them and their children.Pozycja Prawda i fałsz wypowiedzi literackiej(Wydawnictwo Uniwersytetu Rzeszowskiego, 2020) Magryś, RomanThe article “Truth and Falsity of Literary Statements” investigates the issue of logical values, and consequently communication related status of sentences in indicative mood occurring in works of literature. The problem is discussed with reference to theoretical assumptions of classical logic, intuitionistic logic, and other possible intensional logics as well as phenomenological concepts proposed by Roman Ingarden. In this context it is suggested that intensional systems, mainly intuitionistic logic be adequately applied to identify logical value of literary sentences. As a result, it is assumed that the logical value of literary sentences depends on the specific logical system selected; according to the standards of intuitionistic logic, literary statements are true, likely or false. In this context it seems necessary to revise Roman Ingarden’s phenomenological assumption that sentences in indicative mood in a work of fiction do not have objective point of reference. It is suggested that such sentences be recognised as false, and therefore indicative of the group of their intentional meanings as a specific model of reality which can be deemed true or false.Pozycja Roman Ingarden’s Spaces od the Word. Part 1(Wydawnictwo Uniwersytetu Rzeszowskiego, 2024-12) Ulicka, DanutaThe article delves into the literary oeuvre of Roman Ingarden, the prominent Polish phenomenologist, philosopher, aesthetician, and literary theorist. While his scholarly contributions are globally acknowledged, his literary output, in stark contrast, remains largely undiscovered, archived within the confines of his family collection, with only sporadic references in dispersed texts. Intriguingly, some portions of his literary creations were purportedly prepared for publication by the author himself. This corpus of work, primarily comprising poetry but also prose, drama, and autobiographical writings, unveils not only Ingarden’s artistic predilections – ranging from thematic and stylistic inclinations to genre preferences and rhythmic patterns, exhibiting clear affiliations with Young Poland’s poetry – but also provides insight into the implicit conception of subjectivity embedded in his poetic compositions. This nuanced understanding significantly supplements and reinforces the overtly articulated notion of subjectivity present in his writings addressing Edmund Husserl’s philosophy. Additionally, Ingarden’s poetic works, when juxtaposed with the poetry of his contemporaries – such as Kazimierz Twardowski, Stefania Skwarczyńska, Maria Dłuska, Roman Jakobson, and Victor Shklovsky – assumes a pivotal role as an artifact, offering a lens through which to comprehend the prevailing cultural milieu of the epoch. Simultaneously, it provokes the question of why outstanding innovators in literary studies exhibited an intriguing conservatism in their own literary endeavors.
