Filozofia hermeneutycznego rozumu

Abstract

The paper presents a critical approach to “Krytyka hermeneutycznego rozumu. Preliminaria” by Andrzej Przyłębski (Universitas, Cracow 2016). It aims to: 1) discuss the main theses presented in the book; 2) depict them in a larger context of contemporary hermeneutics and 3) start a discussion over the issues of hermeneutic philosophy, its status and theoretical background. The article emphasizes the manners of defining relations between understanding and explaining (due to their dialectic connections)
