Cel pracy
Celem pracy była ocena wpływu wybranych
czynników motywacyjnych mających wpływ na ilośd
spożytych warzyw i owoców przez dzieci w wieku 6-12
lat w stołówkach szkolnych.
Materiał i metody
Badaniem objęto 106 uczniów uczęszczających
na obiady szkolne w danej szkole województwa podkarpackiego. Grupę porównawczą stanowiło 110
uczniów (dobranych pod względem wieku i płci w
stosunku do grupy badanej).
Dokonano trzykrotnego pomiaru
podstawowych parametrów antropometrycznych: masy
ciała oraz wysokości ciała.
Analiza statystyczna wyników badao została
dokonana za pomocą pakietu statystycznego Statistica
10.1 PL, przy przyjęciu najczęściej stosowanych reguł
dla wartości prawdopodobieostwa testowego (p).
Wyniki
Pomiędzy okresem przed eksperymentem
i okresem stosowania działao motywujących dzieci do
spożywania warzyw, zachodzi znamienna statystycznie
różnica w częstości spożywania surówek podczas
obiadu. Po zakończeniu działań motywacyjnych
częstość spożywania surówek minimalnie spadła, ale
zmiana ta nie była istotna statystycznie (p = 0,2044),
więc można pozostać przy stwierdzeniu, iż efekt działań
motywacyjnych był trwały. W badanej grupie dzieci
było 31,1% osób z nadwagą i otyłością.
Wnioski 1. Wprowadzenie czynników motywacyjnych w
stołówce szkolnej w grupie badawczej
przyniosło rezultat w postaci zwiększenia
spożycia warzyw i owoców podczas obiadu. Po
wyłączeniu czynnika motywacyjnego efekt ten
został utrzymany. 2. Czynnikami mającymi istotny wpływ na spożycie
warzyw i owoców w stołówce szkolnej były:
wskaźnik masy ciała rodziców, czas spędzany przed komputerem przez dzieci oraz
wykształcenie matki i ojca. 3. Nadwagę i otyłośd w grupie badanej miało co
trzecie dziecko. Nadmiar masy ciała występował
znamiennie częściej wśród chłopców niż
dziewcząt
Aim of study: The aim of the study was to assess the impact of selected motivational incentives that have influence on the amount of consumed fruits and vegetables by children aged 6-12 years in school canteens. Materials and method: The test group consisted of 106 students, all children attending for school lunches in the school in Podkarpackie region. The control group matched for age and sex accounted for 110 students. The basic anthropometric parameters: body weight, body height were measured three times. Statistical analysis of the test results was performed by means of the statistical package Statistica PL 10.1, assuming the most commonly used rules for test probability values (p). Results: Between the period before the experiment and period of activities motivate children to eat vegetables, there is a statistically significant difference in the incidence of eating salads at lunch. After the experiment, frequency of eating salads slightly decreased, but the change was not statistically significant (p = 0.2044), so the effect of motivational activities was stable. In the test group were 31.1% children with overweight and obesity. Conclusions: 1. Motivational incentives in the school canteen in the research group has brought results in terms of increased fruit and vegetable intake during dinner. After disabling factor incentive effect has been maintained. 2. Significant impact on the consumption of fruit and vegetables in the school canteen were: parents’ body mass index, time spent in front of the computer by children and parents’ education. 3. Overweight and obesity in the study group had every third child. Excess body weight occurred significantly more common among boys than girls.
