Abstract

The main issue which is the subject of this article is health care and public health in Rzeszow. There are many definitions of health care and public health but all mainly concern for the preservation and strengthening of health. Healthcare can be analyzed on two levels: the micro level (doctor – patient relationship) and a macro level (health policy), which should be achieved through the application of the principle of equal access to high-quality medical services. Health care and promotion should be realized on every stage of person’s life, from childhood into old age. Health care is a main duty of each person as well as a whole community. Good health condition is closely linked with economic benefits, effective work and life comfort. This publication is designed to provide accurate and authoritative information in regard to the subject matter covered.
