From the morphological point they are: adverbs, e.g.: presumably, probably, likely, verbs, e.g.: must, may or clauses, e.g.: I suppose, I dare say, I expect, he was convinced. The sentences with the skipped marker of epistemic modality constitute a great deal of examples in the target language.
