W konsekwencji tak przyjętego założenia badawczego przeprowadzono dowód na to, że przemiany aksjologiczne w UE odbywały się pod wpływem ideowym, płynącym nie z przestrzeni dyskursu (także naukowego) odnoszącego się do paradygmatu realizmu i neorealizmu, a idealizmu i demokracji liberalnej. Ujęcie to, z jednej strony, było źródłem rozbudowanych rozwiązań normatywnych i wzorców zachowań (na płaszczyźnie gospodarczej, politycznej, prawnej i społecznej) wpisanych w traktaty założycielskie, często trudnych do zrealizowania we wspólnotowej praktyce politycznej. Z drugiej strony, obecność katalogu wartości europejskich stała się elementem tożsamości tak rozumianego ponadnarodowego systemu politycznego UE, opartej na regule ciągłości i zmiany o charakterze funkcjonalnym i dysfunkcjonalnym.In this article, based on the analyzed research material, an attempt was made to refer scientifically to the issues of the system and axiological structure of the European Union. As a consequence of the research assumption adopted in this way, a proof was made that the axiological changes in the EU took place under the ideological influence, flowing not from the space of discourse (also scientific) referring to the paradigm of realism and neorealism, but from idealism and liberal democracy. This approach has become a source of extensive normative solutions and patterns of behavior (at the economic, political, legal and social level) inscribed in the founding treaties, often difficult to implement in community political practice.
