It consists of six parts dealing with: the importance of Jewish memory in the author’s poetry (part 1), three important places (genius loci) in his work: Poland, Israel and the United States (parts 2–4), his returns to Israel (Aliyah) and departures from there (Yoredah), documented in his correspondence (part 5). Part 6, the final part of the article, is a summary, where an attempt is made to determine the status of Szyper in those contexts on the basis of voices of literary criticism.polAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/PolskaIzraelStany Zjednoczonepoezja emigracyjnakore- spondencjaalijajoredaPolandIsraelthe United Statesemigration poetrycorrespondenceAliyahYoredahMiędzy Polską, Izraelem i Stanami Zjednoczonymi.
