W artykule przedstawiono działania podejmowane na poziomie międzynarodowym zorientowane na poszczególne rządy, świat biznesu, organizacje społeczne i inne instytucje w kierunku realizacji takich koncepcji rozwój społeczno-gospodarczy, który będzie uwzględniał te istotne problemy współczesności świat. Program Narodów Zjednoczonych ds. Rozwoju tworzy globalną sieć odpowiedzialną za: programowanie zmian i zapewnienie krajom dostępu do wiedzy, doświadczenia i środki, które pomagają ludziom osiągnąć lepsze życie. UNDP istnieje w Polsce od 1990 roku umowa o współpracy zawarta pomiędzy Rządem RP a UNDP oczekuje, że Program będzie wspierał rozwój gospodarczy i społeczny Polski.The paper stresses the need of associating the problem of poverty and environment resulting from deepenig processes of becoming impoverished in the world and in the country as well as degradation of natural environment. In the paper there were presented actions taken on the international level orientating particular governments, world of business, social organizations and other institiutions towards the realization of such conceptions of socio-economical development, which will regard these essential problems of nowadays world. United Nations Development Programme forms the global network responsible for programming of changes and providing the countries access to knowledge, experience and means which help people to achieve better life. UNDP exists in Poland from 1990.
