Artykuł ma na celu określenie specyficznych cech „sztuki wymowy” Jana Bołoza Antoniewicza, decydujących o wyjątkowości jego praktyki oratorskiej.The text is a case study of the 'art of eloquence' as an essential element in the life of the Galician intelligentsia. Literary historian Wilhelm Bruchnalski (1918) argued that the skill of 'eloquence' developed particularly in Galicia due to the growth of political freedom. This manifested itself in tying 'every important circumstance of public or private character to eloquence', which, when the speaker combined 'an aesthetic and a practical purpose', developed into 'the art of eloquence'.
