Pozycja Instagram w autoprezentacji politycznej. Analiza wizualna postów polskich kandydatów do europarlamentu w 2019 roku(Wydawnictwo Uniwersytetu Rzeszowskiego, 2020) Kampka, Agnieszka; Molek-Kozakowska, KatarzynaThis article reviews currently available literature on the role of Instagram in political communication and reports on the results of the analysis of 1976 Instagram posts of the most active politicians during the 2019 European parliamentary election campaign in Poland. With the aid of quantitative thematic analysis and qualitative visual rhetorical analysis, we identify the main patterns of self-representation of candidates and compare the forms of visualization and typical strategies of building ethos and mobilizing the voters across parties. We prove that traditional representations of candidates (delivering speeches, canvassing, shaking hands) and national (rather than European) symbols tend to dominate. We conclude with observations on the increase in personalization of politics, professionalization of political campaigning, and strong communitarian identification.Pozycja Komunikacja polityczna w Internecie na szczeblu lokalnym. Rekonesans badawczy(Wydawnictwo Uniwersytetu Rzeszowskiego, 2014) Choroś, Błażej; Skrabacz, EwaThe following paper presents the results of original research focused on analyzing online activities of politicians at the local level. The object of analysis were tools of political communication on the Internet – web pages, personal Facebook accounts, Facebook pages and Twitter accounts – used by the councillors and mayors of cities that are capitals of districts in the Opole Voivodeship. Results of the research confirm the following hypotheses: 1) Politicians at the local level use online tools less often then politicians at the national level; 2) online communication tools are used similarly to traditional media – as one-way communication channels; 3) online communication tools are more intensively used by mayors than councillors.Pozycja Komunikowanie ugrupowań politycznych na Facebooku w trakcie kryzysu sejmowego na przełomie 2016 i 2017 roku(Wydawnictwo Uniwersytetu Rzeszowskiego, 2017) Szwed-Walczak, AnnaThe purpose of research was to indicate the political communications of political parties on social media, during political crisis in Poland. Metodologiczne przymiarki(Wydawnictwo Uniwersytetu Rzeszowskiego, 2017) Kołodziej, Jacek H.Developed within literary studies, the narrative theory is helping to understand relations between an author, features of a narrative text, its contents, cultural meanings, and perception. Modern narratology stems from the research of formalists (e.g. V. Propp), structural theory of literature (M. Bakhtin, Y. Lotman), and blossomed due to structuralism and semiology (R. Barthes, T. Todorov, A. Greimas et al.) – to become in the second half of XX century one of the main tools for explaining the communication strategy of a man – storytelling. A narrative is a commonplace to determine the dynamic elements of our experience, and as such is a fundamental category of perception. It is the core of the art of literature, interpretative journalism, but also makes the spine of political marketing (spinning political events and visions). This text tries to describe the basic methodological assumptions of narratology in order to make it suitable for political communication analysis.Pozycja Oceny jako podstawowy problem analizy zmediatyzowanej perswazji politycznej(Wydawnictwo Uniwersytetu Rzeszowskiego, 2017) Kołodziej, Jacek H.Evaluation is the fundamental component of persuasion, and as such is making the constitutive frame for political conflicts. It is a function of meaning, concerning primarily the expression of our principle and emotive attitudes to reality. Every persuasive evaluation must be communicated – carried by verbal and non-verbal signs, assembled by codes which organize emotions at three levels of: lexemes, evaluative statements and narrative texts (superstructures). The text describes the main practices of evaluation in political communication, following the premises of anthropology of word and mass media theory. Working on the examples from political debates, selected means of persuasive evaluations are tested. To recapitulate the aforementioned claims an overall structural model of analysis is presented. It comprises all relevant factors and contexts of evaluation practices in political persuasion.Pozycja Rola mediów społecznościowych w komunikowaniu politycznym(Wydawnictwo Uniwersytetu Rzeszowskiego, 2017) Posyłek, MałgorzataStarting efficient communication with a society is an indispensable element of a contemporary democratic state. Its aim comprises building and managing images of political stage participants, but first of all conducting a continuous social dialogue. An increase in media significance, mainly electronic media and a media saturation process, including satisfying the society significantly with information from mass media have caused politicians more and more often to take unconventional actions; actions aimed at election success. The development of modern technologies helped in the professionalization of election campaigns that have appeared on the Internet, adjusting tools of marketing communication to new channels of transmission. Politicians have placed great emphasis on this medium as they have noticed its power within public space and meaning in marketing actions. The process of building images of politicians has moved to highly interactive and multimedia social networks. The subject of analysis presented in this article is the course of the presidential campaign, candidates in the 2014 local election in Częstochowa on Facebook.Pozycja Wyboisty szlak elektronicznej demokracji.
