Pozycja Literackie obrazy socjalistycznej Warszawy i frankistowskiego Madrytu w perspektywie geopoetyki i komparatystyki. Przykład powieści „Zły” Leopolda Tyrmanda i „Ul” Camilo José Celi(Wydawnictwo Uniwersytetu Rzeszowskiego, 2019) Rombel, MariaThe paper aims to juxtapose the literary portrayals of the socialist Warsaw and Francoist Madrid depicted in two postwar novels: “The Man with the White Eyes” by Leopold Tyrmand and “The Hive” by Camilo José Cela1, respectively. The starting point for the considerations is geopoetics and, more precisely, the concept of the sensory and emotive topographies. It is intended to demonstrate that the approach in question provides the tools adequate to analyse the configuration of Warsaw’s and Madrid’s urban spaces portrayed in Polish novels from the Polish People’s Republic period and Spanish novels from the Francoism period. The comparative approach, in turn, enables the juxtaposing of the research objects and gathering of the data useful for the purposes of Polish-Spanish intercultural studies, such as intercultural communication studies.Pozycja Literackie odwołania w pismach filozoficznych Karola Libelta jako przykład dziewiętnastowiecznego myślenia komparatystycznego(Wydawnictwo Uniwersytetu Rzeszowskiego, 2019) Ujma, MartynaThe topic of the paper is the occurrence of literary references (quotations, allusions, paraphrases) in philosophical works of the 19th century philosopher Karol Libelt. The study examines theoretical considerations (included by the scholar in his dissertations) on the connections between philosophy and literature. It also describes the scholar’s attitude towards Polish Romantic poetry. Literary references to the works of poets such as Krasicki, Karpiński, Krasiński, Pol, Zaleski, or Mickiewicz are subject to analysis and interpretation. These have been acknowledged as one of the crucial elements of Slavic philosophy, and as an indicator of the Romantic model within the philosophy of history. The references to literary works have also been recognized as a sign of the philosopher’s comparatist line of thought, resembling in its structure that of Goethe’s.Pozycja Twardowski i Teresa(Wydawnictwo Uniwersytetu Rzeszowskiego, 2020) Szargot, MaciejMonograph of Alicja Mazan-Mazurkiewicz „Liryka ks. Jana Twardowskiego. Spotkanie ze św. Teresą z Lisieux” is a reading of the works of a priest-poet through the prism of the person and the work of Saint Teresa of Lisieux, called “little Teresa”. It compares the works of a priest and Carmelite nun, as well as their personalities and biographies (above all – spiritual). The work is distinguished by research reliability, sensitivity and loyalty to texts. This is demonstrated by, for example, great interpretations of poems (e.g. „Niewidoma dziewczynka” and „Wierzę”), as well as themes (telephone, kiss, couple ...) and metaphors.
