Pozycja Od kryzysu do kryzysu – głosy zakulisowe o losach "Wiadomości”(Wydawnictwo Uniwersytetu Rzeszowskiego, 2011) Taylor-Terlecka, NinaThe article discusses hitherto unknown sources related to the cooperation between Tymon Terlecki and the London magazine „Wiadomości”. Thus, the article is considered a basis for the monograph of the magazine. The article analyses archival texts, mostly letters by Tymon Terlecki to Mieczysław Grydzewski, and his correspondence with Michał Chmielowiec and Stefania Zahorska. Therefore, on the example of the famous magazine the article describes the process in which its further history and general picture of war emigration became both enriched and complicated. Texts and quotations from archival letters, presented and discussed, form an interesting mosaic of emigration experiences and record literary and cultural life in exile. The episodes discussed in the article shall correct some generalizations and verify several stereotypical opinions. In such context the personality of Tymon Terlecki is presented in the interesting manner as one of the most active participants of literary life in exile.
