Stylistyka ceramiki grupy wschodniej kultury amfor kulistych – ujęcie strukturalne

In the classical approach presented by Marzena Szmyt, statistical analysis of the ceramic style of the eastern group of Globular Amphora Culture was based on detailed classification of ornaments and their co-occurrence within grave inventories. This paper introduces an alternative proposition, focusing on structural analysis of decoration of vessels. Additionally, in order to show the distribution of stylistic features among the graves, some elements of the network analysis were implemented.
The first radiocarbon dates for the Globular Amphora culture cemetery in Sadowie in the Sandomierz Upland

The article presents new results of radiocarbon dating for the settlement of the Globular Amphora culture from the Sandomierz Upland area. These are three determinations obtained for animal graves (No. 4, 7 and 11) coming from the site 23 in Sadowie near Opatow, where traces of a vast cemetery were discovered. 14C dating was established in the Poznań Radiocarbon Laboratory. The received values were verified by indicating diagnostic features in the composition of artefacts that are referenced in groups of other features of the Globular Amphora culture.

This paper discusses artefacts dated to the Neolithic and Early Bronze Age found on the area of eastern Polish Carpathians and their forelands. Artefacts made of banded flint came from 116 sites grouped into 6 blockas: the Funnel Beaker culture; with characteristics of the Globular Amphora culture/Funnel Beaker culture or the Globular Amphora culture/Corded Ware culture; materials of the Corded Ware culture; materials dated to the Neolithic without cultural affiliation; materials dated to the Early Bronze Age, most probably the Mierzanowice culture and materials dated to the Neolithic and Early Bronze Age without cultural affiliation.
Wyniki badań archeologicznych na cmentarzysku z późnego neolitu w Sadowiu koło Opatowa

This article aims at presenting the results of two research seasons carried out at site 23 in Sadowie, Opatów district. The remains of the cemetery were discovered in this place accidentally by one of the inhabitants during agricultural work. The area of 2.5 ares has been uncovered so far, and 10 graves have been discovered and exploited including, among others, human and animal graves affiliated to the Globular Amphora culture. Moreover, a single niche grave typical for the Złota culture has been also uncovered.
Wyniki badań geofizycznych oraz weryfikacyjnych badań wykopaliskowych na stanowisku nr 53 w Sadowiu, pow. opatowski

The aim of this article is to assess the possibility of using magnetometry to identify immovable features at the multicultural site No. 53 in Sadowie, Opatów district. A gradientometer device was used for the study, which measures the degree of variation in the Earth’s magnetic field. The research was conducted on an area of 1.25 ha within the southwestern part of the site. The obtained results were then verified in the course of excavation work. Five immovable features reflecting clear magnetic signals were exposed in the planned archaeological excavations. The excavation research provided insights into the nature of the site, documenting its extent and layout, among other things.

Currently, it is possible to define not only the area occupied by the communities of the late Tripolye culture, but also the chronological framework in which they functioned. Radiocarbon dates allow them to be placed between 3350/3330–3000/2900 ВС. This period is characterized by the unification of many features of material culture. However, its northwest region is distinguished by the presence of Baden features and the Funnel Beaker culture.
