Pozycja Animal Burials in the Early Bronze Age in Central and Eastern Europe(Fundacja Rzeszowskiego Ośrodka Archeologicznego, 2010) Kołodziej, BarbaraThe animal burials have been discovered in a great quantities throughout the Early Bronze Age over a wide East-Central European area. This phenomenon is a continuation of the Neolithic Age tradition. Animal burials are divided into several different types, however we can distinguish two general forms: individual animal burials and connected with human graves. After consideration of the types of the graves, additional grave goods, orientation of the dead animals, species, number, age and sex of the individuals, and comparison the foregoing data with the consumption habits, Author is convinced of an offering character of this kind of ritual practices.Pozycja Pokolenie przegranych? Kondycja psychospołeczna młodzieży w Europie Środkowo-Wschodniej(Zeszyty Pracy Socjalnej, 2017-03-01) Długosz, PiotrThe following article aims at verifying the question of psycho-social condition of youth. In the discourse on youth, theses about increasing marginalization of youth, entering adulthood being hindered and the phenomenon of psycho-wave appear. In order to verify the researched issue, survey method was used. The data was collected by means of auditorium questionnaire. The research sample was of quota character. The research sample in Poland consisted of 3479 respondents, 1289 in Ukraine and 359 in Hungary. The gathered observations refute the theses about the worsening of their psycho-social condition. Youth from all the researched countries in comparison with the generation of their parents evaluate their chances of getting a good education, a satisfying job, achieving high social status and social standing better. Higher skepticism is observed in terms of starting a family and deriving satisfaction from their lives. The researched youth are also satisfied with their lives and evaluate their future positively. The youth from post-transformational societies are of good psycho-social condition and instead of creating a problem for the society, they will constitute their vital resources.Pozycja YOUTH IN THE SITUATION OF ANOMIE IN THE EAST-CENTRAL EUROPE BORDERLANDS(Uniwersytet w Drohobyczu, UR, PWSW, 2016-12-23) Długosz, PiotrThe aim of the following paper is to present youth in the borderlands of Poland, Ukraine and Hungary as well as to determine the level at which they became adapted to the socio-economic system. The research was conducted with the use of the survey method and the auditorium questionnaire technique, the sample was of quota character. The results of the research indicate that the country determines the occurrence of anomie to a greater extent rather than the inhabited borderland. The majority of different symptoms appeared among Hungarian youth. Less symptoms were observed among young Ukrainians and the least in Poland. The most characteristic symptom of anomie is employing innovative strategies in striving for life goals, economic values spreading to other spheres of life and strong etatist, egalitarian and authoritarian orientation. The level of optimism is low as well.
