Użycie czechosłowackiej broni pancernej i lotnictwa w Operacji Karpacko-Dukielskiej 1944 r.

Abstrakt
Celem niniejszej rozprawy jest pokazanie w jaki sposób użycie czechosłowackiej broni pancernej i lotnictwa wpłynęło na przebieg Operacji Karpacko-Dukielskiej w 1944 r. Rozprawa składa się z siedmiu rozdziałów zasadniczych, ze wstępu, zakończenia, bibliografii, wykazu map, tabeli, indeksu nazwisk, indeksu nazw geograficznych i aneksu. W pierwszym rozdziale poruszone zostały kwestie związane z sytuacją wojskowo-polityczną, która wpłynęła na formowanie czechosłowackich sił zbrojnych na Froncie Wschodnim w czasie II wojny światowej. W drugim rozdziale poddano szczegółowej analizie obszar, na którym rozegrała się Operacji. Kolejny, trzeci rozdział, Autor poświęcił Operacji, natomiast w czwartym przybliżono szlak bojowy 1. CzKA w ramach Operacji. Kwestia 1. Czechosłowackiej Samodzielnej Brygady Pancernej, która brała udział w opisywanych wydarzeniach została przedstawiona w piątym rozdziale. W szóstym rozdziale przedstawiono historię lotników 1. Czechosłowackiego Pułku Myśliwskiego, którzy brali udział w Słowackim Powstaniu Narodowym. Ostatni, siódmi rozdział, zawiera ocenę czechosłowackich jednostek pancernych i lotniczych w opisywanych wydarzeniach oraz wpływ doświadczeń operacyjnych na kształtowanie się czechosłowackich sił zbrojnych w latach 1945-1948.
The aim of this dissertation is to illustrate how the usage of the Czechoslovakian armour and air force influenced the course of the Battle of the Dukla Pass of 1944. The dissertation consists of seven main chapters, an introduction, conclusion, biography, list of maps, table, names index, geographical names index and an annex. The first chapter discusses the issues connected with the military and political situation related to the historical outline of the formation of the Czechoslovakian armed forces on the Eastern Front during the II World War. The second chapter contains a detailed analysis of the area where the Battle of the Dukla Pass took place. The next, third chapter, is devoted to the Battle of the Dukla Pass, while the fourth one portrays the combat trail of the First Czechoslovak Army Corps in the Battle of the Dukla Pass. The issue of the First Czechoslovak Independent Armoured Brigade which took part in the battle has been presented in chapter five. The sixth chapter illustrates the history of the Czechoslovak pilots of the First Czechoslovak Fighter Regiment, which took part in the Slovak National Uprising. The last, seventh chapter, consists of an assessment of the Czechoslovak armoured and air units in the presented events and the influence of those operations on the formation of the Czechoslovak armed forces in the years 1945 – 1948.
